Extrusion

Extrusion is a process where a plastic material, with the desired additives, is melted and formed in a continuous process. The raw material in the form of granulates is compressed by a rotating screw and forced into a heated barrel. The molten material is then pushed through the die, giving the final product the desired profile and shape.
